The DVB Rocket works as an IP to DVB transport stream converter. To pass real data (files) you need a file delivery system, which sits on top of the IP protocol.

 

For delivery of IP based streamed video/audio, you need a streamer, e.g. Windows Media encoder/server for Windows Media distribution.

 

The DVB Rocket accepts IP packets (either unicast or multicast). Those packets are generated by a streaming application or file delivery system.

 

We have a file delivery system for Linux/Windows (FDS), which can deliver files to remote Windows/Linux machines. The Windows Media software is freely available from Microsoft's Website.
