MUX 3 SDI + 1 MADI (tx)
This
card receives in its entrances 3 signals SDI and
one MADI signal (with electrical format or optician)
and one data signal RS-22. MADI is the resulting
signal of the multiplexation of up to 56 digital
audio channels Aes-ebu. All these signals are multiplexing
to construct a DS of high speed that will take to
the optical transmitter (High Digital Speed Optical
TX). This signal will reconstruct in the receiving
side in card DEMUX 3 SDI + 1 MADI.
High Speed Digital Optical Transmitter (tx)
This
card receives in its entrance the DS of high speed
provided by the Mux, and directly it modulates a
laser module to obtain an optical reply of the electrical
signal of entrance. This optical signal is injected
in a fiber monoway through a connector SC to the
optical receiver (High Digital Speed Optical RX)
. This card is available in different wavelengths,
1310 nm, 1550 nm and all grill ITU, and optical
power of 0dBm or 6dBm.
High Speed Digital Optical Receiver (rx)
The
optical receiver is the card that receives the transmitted
optical signal from any one of the optical transmitters,
and turns it on an high speed electrical signal
compatible with the Demux card 3 SDI. This card
is available in two types of sensitivity to the
optical signal, -20 dBm and -32dBm.
DEMUX 3 SDI + 1 MADI (rx)
The
Demux card receives the NRZ signal from the optical
receiver (High Digital Speed Optical RX), giving
rise to 3 dual signals SDI, 1 MADI (in electrical
format as optician) and one data signal when coming
out.
Also a more basic version of the cards Mux and Demux
without signal MADI exists.

High Speed Digital Optical Transceiver (TX/RX)
This card integrates the functionalities that provide
"High Digital Speed Optical TX" card and "High Digital
Speed Optical RX" card. So, it's prepare to receive
a high speed digital signal provided by "MUX 3 SDI
+ 1 MADI" card, and to give a reply in laser form,
as well as, at the same time, to receive a laser signal
and to provide its electrical reply of high speed
for a "DEMUX 3 SDI + 1 MADI" card. The card behaves
therefore like a "transceiver". The optical signal
is inyected/recibed through a optic fiber monoway
with two E2000 connectors.
This card provides the possibility of mounting lasers
CWDM with wavelengths of 1470nm, 1490nm, 1510nm, 1530nm,
1550nm, 1570nm, 1590nm and 1610nm.

1 SDI/DVB-ASI Optical TX (tx)

Transmitting
unit of a channel SDI or DVB-ASI. When being a card
monochannel, any multiplexación is not necessary,
and the signal is modulated directly to a laser diode,
obtaining an optical reply of the electrical signal.
This optical signal is injected in the fiber through
a E2000 connector to the optical receiver (1 SDI/DVB-ASI
Optical RX). Optionally, this card offers the possibility
of error monitoring of error in the EDH checksum and
regenerción of the same one to allow the state monitoring
of the optical connection. This card is available
in the wavelengths of 1310nm and 1550nm with -8dBm
of optical power and in all grill CWDM with 3dBm.
1 SDI/DVB-ASI Optical RX (rx)

It
is the complementary card in the side of the receiver
of the previous card. This card is able to receive
an optical signal and to turn it its electrical retort
in format SDI or DVB-ASI. Like the optical transmitter,
exists the possibility of analysis EDH.

All these cards are lodged within the Vlink coffers
of 1 or 3 units of height. The “Vlink 1U Rack Frame”
has a 3 slots capacity for 3 VLink-D cards. The “Vlink
3U Rack Frame” has 12 vertical slots for 12 VLink-d
cards. All VLink-D cards has been designed to allow
to its insertion and extraction in hot.
