VLINK-8 is a modular transmission system for multiple contribution quality analog video, SDI video, DVB-ASI, audio and E1/T1 signals over a single optical fiber.

A VLINK-8 system is composed of a transmitter unit and a receiver unit linked by an optical fiber. Using digital high-speed multiplexing techniques, each VLINK-8 can transmit combinations of the following signals:

• 8 analog video signals or 4 SDI/DVB-ASI signals or a mixture thereof
• 32 baseband audio signals

Using Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) VLINK-8 is capable of transmitting up to 64 high quality video channels, 256 audio and 64 data channels on a single mode optical fiber. VLINK-8 is the ideal, cost-effective solution for point-to-point configurations in production, post production and transmission environments, including the most common applications.
