| CMI's DVB Master is now incorporated into
many OEM designs. First introduced at the National Association
of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in April '99, they have been selected
as a "glue" or key component in many designs, such as satellite
routing and video/data transmission systems. Customers are
now worldwide and range from leading Fortune 100 to start-ups.
DVB Master is a nimble family of ASI DVB Send or Receive PCI
computer cards. Drivers available include NT, 98 and Linux.
Several OEMs are using proprietary drivers running on various
real time operating systems (RTOS). Just released is an NT
DVB Master Demo Application (CTS), including the application
source code, that stores DVB Streams to the hard drive, then
can transmit that as instructed. These boards start under
$1,000 with OEM quantities/pricing available, NT drivers only
$100. As the designer and manufacturer, CMI can migrate these
half-sized card designs to full size in order to accommodate
an OEM's own components for a more efficient use of a single
slot. PMC and other versions may also be available in the
future. DVB Master are produced under ISO9001 manufacturing
standards.
