CMI is proud to introduce a new multichannel video failsafe
crossover switch, Video Watchguard. The Video Watchguard is
one of the newest products in CMI's line of broadcast and
communication products. The Video Watchguard solves a universal
problem in all video and audio applications, what do you do
when your primary signal suddenly fails? CMI's unit senses
the video failure and automatically switches both video and
audio to the secondary channels to minimize the disruption
of any video or audio failures.
Each rack mount Watchguard can support up to eight audio or
video channels in any combination. Additional Watchguards
may be daisy chained together as needed. This is the first
product truly designed to meet the basic needs of a multiple
feed video facility. Ideal applications are distance learning,
video stations, transmitters, cable headends, satellite feeds,
TV networks and Telco/RBOC control rooms. Watchguards are
available now.
